Okay. 1 down and 1 to go. Why can't I listen to the music that's posted? Do I need Apple Quick Time like the plug in keeps telling me or can I use Media Center?
No one has any advice about the music side of my question???

I am reluctant to install apple quicktime because of a bad experience in the past but if I have to, I will.
I didn't realize that was the issue you were having. I have the quicktime plugin installed and haven't run into any issue, other than the fact that it doesn't save the volume setting I set it at previously and always plays LOAD!
I also don't care for how it loads all of the MP3s if you go to the blog directly rather than going to a specific post. It'd be nice if we could figure a way to open the MP3 in a separate window rather than the main post.
As I recall, one of the problems I was having was that quicktime took over all audio and I couldn't opt out. It was very aggressive and I couldn't get it out of my computer once I let it in.
You should be able to select which file types it assigns itself to during the installation process. Key word being should. Apple has a way of assuming that anyone running windows applications would obviously prefer apple.
Ok. I installed quicktime. Wasn't given the option to choose what type of file to open. Tried clicking on one of the audio files from JC&TR - no luck.
What type of files are they, mp3, wav? Or are they links to a utube or something else?
The files should play right in your browser. Did you close the browser after the install?

Next Q...why am I getting 2 duplicate emails of each post?

Are they only from this post or all posts? When you post a comment, there's check box that says 'Email follow-up comments to...'. Did you check that maybe? Since you're already set up to receive email for any comment, you don't need to check that box.
That's the only thing I can think of that would cause it. I checked to make sure you're only listed once in the email list, so other than that you should only receive one email per comment.
I'll double check (no pun).
